Good Afternoon I am going to cancel class tonight due to the impending icy travel this afternoon and early evening. We will cover 7.4 on Tuesdays class and I will make up the day later in the semester.

This is Due Tuesday Feburary 13th at the start of class. You can work together however you must each turn in your own work. All work must be shown.
Class is canceled tonight due to issues from the storm. We will push the test back to next Tuesday as I still have to cover 10-4 first.

Here are the notes for tonight's class sorry for the late posting. Been a crazy week.
Instead of a test you will have to complete both of these projects for chapter 10. They are designed to be done in class so they are not to bad and I think should be fun. You can use any online tools you would like to do your work.
These are not in your book so pribt them out. They will be due on April 13th, however we are moving on next week so might want to get them done this week.
Chapter 11 will be an in class test as that material fits a test model better than a project.

Due to the grades on the test I am going to give everyone the ability to increase their grades some. The grade you get on this assignment will be averaged with your other grade to get a new grade to get your final grade for chapter 7.
You have 20 questions to complete each question is worth 5 points it is all or nothing. There is no partial credit for these questions.

I am still working on grading the tests I hope to have them finished tonight but they are taking a lot longer to grade then I thought as I am having to really figure out what people are doing in their steps. This is taking time as I want to give you credit where you deserve it and not do just a quick right or wrong.

Problem #3 was from section 7.1 and will be changed to an easier problem from 7.1 that does not require as many substitutions. Problem #10 was from section 7.4 and will be changed to a problem from earlier in the section that does not require solving a system for 4 variables.

So here are the powerpoints for 7-7 and 7-8. After reviewing the material and trying to make videos for them that would be understandable we will just cover this in class next week. I will work on finding things I can remove from later lessons however these lessons are very important for future lessons and classes so I have to cover them and make sure you have a good understanding of them. This means the test will not be on the 16th.
